A major part of the page is an extensive bibliography of demo-related books, theses, articles and online material. We also maintain a list of researchers who have studied the scene. News and demo-related discussions are disseminated in the blog on the front page. There is also a related newsgroup, <a href=\"http:\/\/groups.google.com\/group\/demoresearch\/\">Demo Research<\/a>, where we post the most important news so that you can read and discuss them by email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Authors<\/h3>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kameli.net\/demoresearch2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/antti1-e1266233936563.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kameli.net\/demoresearch2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/antti1-e1266233936563.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-83\" width=\"100\" height=\"151\" title=\"antti1\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>Antti Silvast<\/strong> has PhD in sociology from the University of Helsinki. His research interests include the sociology of risk, Science and Technology Studies, energy infrastructures, and social studies of finance. Markku works as a senior university lecturer at the Aalto University School of Art, Design and Architecture. Albert<\/strong> received his M.A. (2007) in History and Slavic Studies from the University of Cologne, and defended his PhD thesis in 2014 at Bielefeld University on internationalism in the early Soviet Union. Currently he is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Zurich as part of the interdisciplinary research group <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fg-mimesis.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&#8220;Media and Mimesis&#8221;<\/a>, where he conducts a project on the global history of software piracy as a subculture in the 1980s and early 1990s.
