Just a little blurb so that people find the solutions to these common problems when googling around. These apply to some other models than 3000, too.<\/p>\n

  1. The mouse pad doesn’t work. Press Fn and F7 simultaneously to re-enable it.<\/li>\n
  2. Sudden slowdowns of about a second. Disable ACPI, at least the battery ACPI.<\/li>\n
  3. The machine sucks. Can’t be fixed, buy a new one (some other brand).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
