A little project that could be of use for someone else (as OCD about these things as me) too. A printable A4-size pdf that lets you try chess pieces on different common square sizes – 30, 40, 50 and 57 mm – before shelling out for a board. Comes in two versions: with alignment markers and without them. Printing in the right size might be painful, but at least on a Mac it turned out fine by selecting “100%” as the size.
